I am lucky I am reading you in broad day light. Hehe. Well done Mister Donnellon. You should be a script writer. Maybe you are and we dont know it hehe. Cheers. Thank you.
Well now, that was delightfully unsettling. It was like finding out the class hamster has been whispering Latin backwards at night. The story crept in like a cold draft under the door, all quiet dread and steadily rising goosebumps. It didn’t just give me chills, but it nested under my skin. The pacing was pitch-perfect, and the eerie innocence of Michael? That’s the kind of horror that lingers long after the lights go out. Bravo.
Matthew, I enjoyed "Something Wicked." I think the most terrifying part of the story, was the 10 year old's paper and what went on as the teacher spoke ot him about it. You tapped into something really disturbing in that scene. Would you ever contemplate going further with the boy? I don't think you'd want to copy "The Omen," but I can imagine a lot of other possibilities. Thank you for an exciting read. (I'm never hiding in a closet. We all know that there's something there.)
Aaaaaaaaaaaah This is so scary and brilliant! I want to know what happens next as I am gripped.
Well thank you
